Product lifecycle announcement

Product Lifecycle Announcement for U2 DataVu - October 2012

U2 DataVu has been merged into the CorVu NG product as of version 2.2.3; customers on maintenance with U2 DataVu may upgrade to CorVu NG.
Please contact your software provider to obtain CorVu NG.

The following product lifecycle changes will take place as noted below for all versions of U2 DataVu. See the Product Lifecycle Categories section below for the meaning of each product lifecycle category.

Following are the dates associated with the product lifecycle changes to U2 DataVu:


Product Lifecycle Categories

End of Marketing (EOM)

Rocket Software is no longer actively marketing the product version to new customers. Existing customers can acquire new or additional user licenses and maintenance. Replacement media is no longer available. Maintenance is available. Customers on maintenance may contact support, access the on-line knowledge base and obtain product upgrades.

End of Service (EOS)

Technical support may no longer maintain old platform versions for problem reproduction. Licenses and maintenance are available. Customers on maintenance may contact support, access the on-line knowledge base and obtain product upgrades.

End of Life (EOL)

The product version has been withdrawn from sales. New or additional licenses are no longer available. Maintenance is available. Customers on maintenance may contact support, access the on-line knowledgebase and obtain product upgrades.
