udt3699.tar.Z is a compressed tar image that contains two executables:

These are versions of cleanupd built on AIX 5.3 for UniData 7.2.5.

They include a fix for the cleanupd memory corruption for UDT-3699.

Installation:
0) cd $UDTBIN (as root)
1) download the file
2) uncompress udt3699.tar.Z
3) Have users exit gracefully.
4) stopud
5) cp cleanupd cleanupd.orig
6) cp cleanupd.d cleanupd.d.orig
7) tar xvf udt3699.tar
8) Adjust owner, group and permissions for both files
9) startud
10) confirm all daemons launched and UniData is running normally
